Story: The Boy Who Cried Wolf

In beautiful Greece, a young shepherd boy watches over a flock of sheep near a village.

The boy is often bored and wants some excitement. Everything is too quiet and peaceful. Nothing exciting ever happens!

One day, he decides to play a trick on the villagers. He runs to the village and shouts, "Wolf! Wolf! A wolf is attacking the sheep!"

The villagers quickly run to help the boy. They bring sticks and stones to chase the wolf away.

But when they get there, they see no wolf. The boy laughs and says, "I tricked you all! There was no wolf." The villagers are angry and tell the boy not to lie again.

A few days later, the boy is bored again and thinks it would be funny to trick the villagers once more.

He runs to the village and shouts, "Wolf! Wolf! A wolf is attacking the sheep!"

The villagers rush to help, but once again, there is no wolf. The boy laughs and laughs. The villagers are very angry and warn him, "Do not lie again. We will not believe you next time."

A few days later, a real wolf comes out of the forest and begins to attack the sheep! The boy is terrified.

He runs to the village and shouts, "Wolf! Wolf! A wolf is attacking the sheep! Please help!" But this time, the villagers do not believe him. They think he is trying to trick them again, so no one comes to help...

The wolf attacks the sheep, and the boy can do nothing to stop it. He loses many of his sheep that day.

The boy learns a hard lesson: if you constantly lie, people will not believe you, even when you tell the truth!
